April Wrap-Up & May TBR

April has been a tough month for me to read, knowing that May is coming and two of my most anticipated books of 2017 are coming out on my birthday month *coughs* ACOWAR and Lord of Shadows *cough* But nevertheless, I’ve manage to squeeze in a few books!

Physical Copy:

  • Frost like Night by Sara Raasch – 5/5

Ebooks:

Now let’s move on to my May TBR! Like I said in a previous post, I don’t do TBRs, but since May is a very special month to me, I have a specific TBR list in my mind and which I promise to do before the month ends.

  1. A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

This is my #1 anticipated book of 2017, and with good reason! If you are following my Tumblr blog, I’m sure you all know that I’m a huge huge fan of the series, especially ACOMAF. With the way how ACOMAF ended, it was a very torturous wait until ACOWAR. I need to know what happens next to my babies, especially Rhysand and Feyre and the other members of the Inner Circle! I’m just freaking excited that it’s coming out on May 2nd, and I don’t have to wait too long to grab a copy.

2. Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare

This beauty comes out on my birthday, May 23rd! This is the second book of The Dark Artifices by Cassandra Clare, and I’m a huge fan of the Shadowhunter Chronicles since I was in high school. I’ve loved the first book a lot, especially the very witty and diverse characters, and I want to know immediately what happens next after Lady Midnight finished off. I am also in love with all the Blackthorns, and they’re the best Shadowhunter family (apart from the Herondales).

Other books that I want to read next month would be:

  • Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han
  • Flame in the Mist by Renee Adhieh
  • The Winner’s Crime by Marie Ruthoski
  • Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
  • Caraval by Stephanie Garber
  • The Beauty of Darkness by Mary E. Pearson

How about you guys? What’s your best read book in April? What’s your anticipated reads for May?
