Book Merch: Her Mad Library

Hey guys! Aside from books, I decided to also start reviewing bookish products and merch from local and international shops. These products can range from bookmarks, candles, book subscription boxes, and a whole lot more! I’ve seen a lot of other book bloggers do this, and I wanted to join in the fun, as this is also a great way in promoting the shops to interested customers! As a book merch business owner myself, I know how important promotions and reviews from our customers mean to us!

For today, I will be featuring Her Mad Library! It is owned by Cath, and her shop makes gorgeous traditional bookmarks around 2×6 inches in size, and printed on 300GSM paper with a laminated pearl finish. They have different designs ranging from A Court of Thorns and Roses, Six of Crows, Colleen Hoover books, and more! They also just released Stranger Things bookmark designs, so if you’re a fan of the TV show, better check it out!

It was also my first time to order from our local online selling shop, Shopee, so I was a little trippy when I placed my orders. Luckily, everything went alright and my package was delivered after 5-7 days after I placed my order.

I ordered 4 bookmarks from the shop – 3 ACOTAR designs and 1 Six of Crows design. As soon as I opened my package, I was immediately amazed with the high quality of the bookmarks! The paper used is really thick and I fell in love with the smooth finish of the paper. It wasn’t too glossy or too matte. While the bookmarks aren’t laminated, the pearl finish and hardness of the paper make up already for the protection a laminated sheet offers. All the designs are absolutely beautiful, but my most favorite would be The Night Court design!

Also, I didn’t expect a freebie! I got a Feyre Cursebreaker bookmark! Look at this beaut!

Over-all, my experience with this shop is amazing! The owner is very accommodating and helpful with my questions, and her quality of work is flawless! I will definitely be buying again from her shop – especially as soon as she posts new designs!

You can check out her shop on Instagram, Shopee (for Filipino bookworms), and Etsy .
