Filipino Bookstagrammers I Adore: Part 2

In this series feature, I enjoy promoting these Filipino bookstagrammers that took up most of my dashboard and inbox with all their mesmerizing content. For this second round, there is a generous mix of old and new content creators that I’ve been following, but also suggested by other creators to me. So don’t hesitate to randomly shoot them messages or comment on their posts because they won’t steal your books or dog-ear any pages *winks*

I already highlighted a number of Filipino bookstagrammers a month ago (check them out here), but I still want to feature more names in my blog soon, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for another round!

Jea | @dj_jea

I first met Jea through a book club a year ago, but have gotten to know her better when she and a couple of her friends made their own book club which I joined eventually. Not only is this bookworm who loves mystery, thrillers, and historical books have her nose constantly buried in between books, but she’s also an amazing singer! So make sure to also go support her music career, because she’s the bomb! Jea’s personal favorite books are Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene, and Hercule Poirot series by Agatha Christie.

I remember already following Princess’ account since 2017, and I am always amazed at how gorgeous and stylized her cozy and warm bookstagram feed is. Maas, An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, and the Monsters of Verity by VE Schwab.

Bea| @beamasalunga

One of my very trusted sources when it comes to getting into a new romance book over at Bookstagram is if it’s in any of Bea’s highly recommended list. Her recommendations are spot-on, especially if you want a more romance-heavy book to spice up your reading palate. She reads and reviews any romance novel, but particular enjoys indie romance published works. Bea’s favorite books are In the Company of Killers series by JA Redmerski, It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover, and Grip Series by Kennedy Ryan.

A Shadowhunter Chronicles fan after my own heart! If I’m already obsessed with Cassandra Clare’s books, let me assure you that Jojie’s full-on dedication to the series is even more surprising. I will always be forever jealous of her pink explosion feed featuring a lot of her different editions and book merch of the series. If you’re a fellow fan, her account is obviously worth checking out. Aside from The Infernal Devices and The Mortal Instruments, Jojie also enjoys the A Darker Shade of Magic trilogy by VE Schwab.

Some of her most favorite books include 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid and The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Some of his favorite books are the Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan, Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.
