If you’ve been following my posts on Tumblr frequently, you guys would know that aside from The Shadowhunter Chronicles, ACOTAR and Throne of Glass, and Six of Crows, I post a lot – and it’s really a lot – of the Addicted Series by Krista and Becca Ritchie! I would assume that most of you don’t know this series yet, since the authors are self-published, and I discovered this series around 2 years ago through a friend on Tumblr.

The Addicted Series is an New Adult contemporary series composed of 2 sets of books that follows a really long timeline. It’s actually 10 really amazing books in all! The story is about Lily Calloway and Loren Hale struggling to get through their addictions together, and how their family and the people they encountered in their life shape them and help them through those addictions. It’s a really great series that tackles different kinds of addictions, different social problems, and family problems. I’m so so in love with this series, and I’m always recommending it to anyone who keeps asking me for book recommendations!

Now we would move to Damaged Like Us! The Like Us series is a spin-off of the Addicted Series, so you don’t need to read the prequel books yet if you want to dive into Damaged Like Us immediately. If you’re into a New Adult contemporary book full of tattooed bodyguards, celebrity children, really funny and unique characters, and DIVERSITY – both in skin color, culture, and sexual preferences – then this book is for you! This is actually the authors’ first time to write an MM Romance novel, and for us fans, it makes us even more excited!
